Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 28, 2026, for accounts created on or after that date and for anyone using our sites without an account. For accounts that existed before that date, this version takes effect on November 2, 2026; the previous version applies until then and is available on request from legal@amtil.co. 1. Welcome to AMTIL

These Terms of Service are a contract between you and AMTIL Inc., a Delaware corporation operating from 7308 E Independence Blvd #1118, Charlotte, NC 28227. They cover your use of our websites and applications, including amtil.co, the AMTIL Encyclopedia at app.amtil.co, command.amtil.co, connect.amtil.co, and admin.amtil.co (if you have been given internal access).

By creating an account, signing in, or using any feature beyond browsing public marketing pages, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

AMTIL is in Open Beta. The product is functional and actively used by paying customers and FAA Part 147 student cohorts; we ship changes weekly. Features will appear and occasionally disappear, content will be revised as instructors give us feedback, and pricing for new tiers will firm up over time. We disclose material changes in advance where we reasonably can.

2. Your Account and Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use AMTIL. We ask for your date of birth when you set up your account, and we block and delete accounts of users under 13.

If you are under 18 (or under the age of majority where you live), a parent or guardian must review and agree to these terms with you, and only a parent or guardian may buy a subscription for you. If a school or employer has enrolled you, any age-verification or guardian-consent steps they took are between you and them.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Choose a strong password, do not share your login, and tell us right away at security@amtil.co if you think someone else has accessed your account. We can suspend or close an account that is used in a way that breaks these terms, threatens our infrastructure, or harms other users.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to do any of the following while using AMTIL:

• Share your credentials with anyone else, or attempt to access another user's account.
• Copy, redistribute, mirror, or scrape our training content, 3D models, assessments, or other materials for resale or republication.
• Use the service to send spam, harass other users, post unlawful content, or anything that would embarrass an instructor or a hangar.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Probe, scan, or attempt to breach our security controls without prior written permission. We welcome responsible disclosure at security@amtil.co.
• Use automated tools to register accounts, post content or extract data, beyond what our public API explicitly allows.

4. Our Content and Your Content

The training content on AMTIL (the 3D aircraft systems, the structured curriculum, the assessments, the videos, the imagery, the AMTIL trademarks and logos) is owned by AMTIL Inc. or licensed to us. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use it for your own learning while your account is active. Schools and organizations with a paid B2B agreement get the rights set out in their order form, which prevail over this paragraph if they conflict.

Anything you upload or post (your assessment answers, questions you ask MX-AI, profile information, forum posts, content you submit as a content contributor) is yours. By posting it on AMTIL you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process that content for the purpose of running the service. If you are a paid contributor producing content under our Content Production Pipeline ("Hangar Crew"), your separate contributor agreement governs ownership of work-for-hire.

If you believe something on AMTIL infringes your copyright, send a notice as described in our DMCA policy. We respond to valid notices by removing or disabling access to the material, and we terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Billing. Stripe processes payments for us. Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly, quarterly, or annually, as offered on our pricing page and chosen at checkout. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay, plus any tax shown there. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

Your rate is locked while you stay subscribed. As long as your subscription stays continuously active, we will not raise the price of your plan at renewal. If we change our prices, the new prices apply only to new subscriptions. They apply to you only if your subscription ends and you later subscribe again, or if you move to a different plan or billing period. Where a plan says new modules are included as they launch, adding those modules does not change your price. The lock covers your plan's regular price; if you subscribed with a time-limited discount or promotional code, the regular price you signed up at applies when the discount ends.

When a subscription lapses. A subscription ends, and the rate lock with it, when you cancel and your paid period runs out, or when it is cancelled because renewal payments could not be collected. While a failed payment is being retried, your subscription and its price stay in place. If you subscribe again after it has ended, current pricing applies.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in the app under Profile, then Billing, then Manage Subscription, or by emailing hello@amtil.co. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period, and you keep access until then. We do not give refunds or credits for partial periods, except where the law requires them. We may also refund at our discretion, for example if a billing error was ours.

Organizations. Schools, airlines, and other organizations that buy under an order form or invoice are billed on the terms of that agreement, which prevail over this section if they conflict.

6. Educational Supplement Disclaimer

AMTIL is built to supplement aviation maintenance training, not to replace it. The 3D models, courses, assessments, and MX-AI answers on AMTIL are not FAA-approved training. They are not a substitute for a Part 147 program, an Airman Certification Standard, manufacturer maintenance documentation, or the supervision of a certificated Airframe & Powerplant mechanic. MX-AI answers are generated by AI and can be wrong. Nothing on AMTIL constitutes airworthiness guidance for a real aircraft. If you are working on a real airplane, follow the maintenance manuals and your IA or DAR, not our 3D model.

7. Service Provided "As Is"

We do our best to keep AMTIL up, accurate, and useful, but we provide it "as is" and "as available." We disclaim, to the maximum extent permitted by law, all warranties (express, implied, or statutory) including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. The service may have bugs. Content may be wrong or out of date. The 3D models may not perfectly match every aircraft variant. We rely on hosted infrastructure that occasionally has its own outages.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AMTIL Inc., its officers, employees, advisors, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of these terms is limited to the greater of one hundred US dollars ($100) or the total amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

9. Indemnification

If your use of AMTIL gets us into trouble (for example, if you violate these terms, infringe someone's rights, or break the law while using the service) you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from the resulting claims, damages, and reasonable attorneys' fees. We get to pick our own counsel.

10. Termination

You can close your account at any time by emailing privacy@amtil.co from your account address. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first (section 5) or say so in the same email and we will cancel it. We can suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if a sub-processor we depend on demands it. Sections 4 (the content licenses you have granted us for the duration we need them), 7 (disclaimer), 8 (liability), 9 (indemnification), and 11 (governing law) survive termination.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that is not resolved by talking to us first will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and you consent to that venue. If you live in the EEA or the UK, this clause does not override the mandatory consumer protections of your home country.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. For a material change we will give you reasonable notice, normally at least 30 days, by email to your account address. If you keep using AMTIL after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, you can cancel and close your account during the notice period. A change to these terms does not undo the rate lock in section 5 for a subscription that stays continuously active.

13. Miscellaneous

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order form or contributor agreement you have signed with us, are the entire agreement between you and AMTIL on the subject. If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a right does not waive it. You cannot assign these terms to anyone else without our written consent; we can assign them to a successor in connection with a sale, merger, or reorganization of our business.
